Physio-led strength programs that build capacity to last, whether you’re finishing rehab, training for sport or investing in long-term health.
Strength is at the core of everything we do at Peak Motion. Our strength and conditioning service is designed and delivered by a physiotherapist who understands how the body moves, how it adapts under load and how to build physical capacity that lasts.
Every session is one-on-one with Yannick, a Doctor of Physiotherapy with over a decade of strength and conditioning behind him. No GP referral needed.
Train at our Main Street clinic, with access to Train 247 when you need a full gym.
Every program starts with a thorough assessment and is built entirely around you.
We look at how you move, where you're strong, where you're not and what your body needs to progress safely.
We identify your strengths and deficits and set clear goals before any programming begins.
A structured program built on progressive overload, movement quality and recovery.
We track your progress, adjust as you develop and make sure you understand what you're doing and why.
Not sure where to start? We'll recommend the right program at your initial assessment.
Book an assessment →Strength and conditioning at Peak Motion suits a wide range of people and goals:
For patients completing physiotherapy who want to build on their recovery rather than simply return to baseline.
For athletes and active people on the Peninsula who want to improve their physical capacity, reduce injury risk and perform at a higher level.
For anyone investing in strength for the long term: protecting joints, maintaining function and staying active well into later life.
For people with recurring injuries who want to address the underlying physical deficits that keep bringing them back.
At Peak Motion, strength and conditioning isn’t a separate service that sits alongside physiotherapy. It’s the natural continuation of it.
Most physiotherapy ends when pain resolves. We go further, because a body that got injured once is more likely to get injured again unless the underlying deficits are addressed. Strength work closes that gap and for many patients it’s where the most meaningful progress happens. After an injury or surgery, it starts with our return to sport program.

Doctor of Physiotherapy. Strength and conditioning experience with Richmond (VFL), Sandringham Zebras, Uni Blues and St Kilda Southern Saints.
Meet Yannick →Not necessarily. Many patients begin strength and conditioning while still completing physiotherapy, the programs are designed to complement each other. We assess your current capacity and build accordingly.
Yes. A physio-led strength program is built around your movement patterns, your history and your specific goals. The clinical reasoning behind every exercise choice is what makes it different.
Yes and significantly. Building strength around the structures that are causing pain reduces load on those structures and improves their capacity to handle stress. For many chronic pain patients, progressive strength work produces results that passive treatment alone never achieves.
It depends on your goals. Some patients engage in a short program to bridge the gap between physio and independent training. Others work with us on an ongoing basis. We’ll give you an honest recommendation at your initial assessment.
