The Peak Motion approach is only as good as the people behind it. We’re a small, experienced team who take the time to understand your body, your goals and what it’s going to take to get you there.
Yannick graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University, where his research on motor imagery and balance in elderly populations was published in the Journal of Physiotherapy. Prior to this, he spent over a decade working as a personal trainer, an experience that continues to shape how he practices today.
Where most physiotherapists focus on the injury in front of them, Yannick looks at the whole body, how it moves, how it loads and what strength work is needed to make recovery last. It’s an approach built from years of understanding how bodies perform under real-world conditions, not just clinical ones.
Matthew holds a Master of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University and a Bachelor of Sport & Exercise Science. His approach is grounded in movement, strength and restoring long-term function.
Before physiotherapy, Matthew served four years in the Australian Army. That experience shaped how he works with discipline, clarity and a genuine understanding of what it takes to push through adversity and come out stronger.
Matthew takes a goal-oriented approach to rehabilitation, helping patients return to work, sport and everyday life with confidence and resilience.
Outside the clinic, Yannick has worked with the strength and conditioning team at Richmond Football Club (VFL), Uni Blues Football Club (VAFA), Sandringham Zebras (VFL) and St. Kilda Southern Saints (WVFL).
He has a world renowned GLA:D certification which focuses on Osteoarthritis and exercise.
Yannick is a Dance Medicine Australia accredited Physiotherapist.
