Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy in Mornington

At Peak Motion, physiotherapy is just the starting point.
Every assessment, diagnosis and treatment plan we build is designed to do more than relieve pain, it’s designed to address the cause, rebuild strength and create lasting results. Each patient receives a thorough one-on-one assessment, an honest explanation of what’s going on and a clear path forward built entirely around their body and their goals.

What We Actually Do

Physiotherapy at Peak Motion isn’t passive. We don’t believe in treatment that keeps you dependent on the clinic, we believe in building the capacity of your body to support itself.
That means looking beyond the site of pain. How does your body move? Where is it lacking strength or mobility? What’s placing load on the areas that are struggling? These are the questions that shape every treatment plan we build and the answers are different for every person who walks through our door.
From hands-on manual therapy to structured rehabilitation and strength work, our approach is active, progressive and built around long-term results.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?

No. You can book directly with us at any time. However, if your GP refers you under a Chronic Disease Management plan, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates.

Is physiotherapy covered by Medicare or private health insurance?

Most private health extras cover physiotherapy. Medicare rebates are available under a GP CDM plan. Call us and we’ll help you work out what you can claim.

How many physiotherapy sessions will I need?

It depends on your condition and goals. Some patients see significant improvement in a few sessions. Others benefit from an ongoing program built around performance and prevention. We’ll give you an honest assessment from the first appointment.

What conditions do physiotherapists treat?

Physiotherapists treat a wide range of issues including back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, arthritis, post-surgery rehab, and mobility concerns. At Peak Motion, we also run lifestyle and performance programs to keep you moving well long-term.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Comfortable clothing that allows easy movement, any relevant scans or referral letters and your private health insurance card if applicable.
