Physiotherapy in Mornington

At Peak Motion Physiotherapy in Mornington, we’re here to help you move better, feel stronger and get you back to doing what you love.

As a primary care provider, your physiotherapist is trained to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of aches, pains, and injuries. But we don’t just treat symptoms. We take the time to explain what’s going on, why it’s happening, and how we’ll work together to fix it.

Our goal isn’t just to treat the problem, it’s to help prevent it from coming back. That’s why our physiotherapy services focus on long-term results, not just quick fixes. Your personalised treatment plan supports your recovery while building strength, improving mobility, and reducing the risk of future injuries.

Whether it’s getting back in the garden, out on the footy field, or simply enjoying life with less pain, we’re here to help you move with confidence again.

Why Do I Need Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy can help if you’re experiencing difficulty with mobility, recovering from an injury, or simply not feeling at your physical best.

You may benefit from physiotherapy if you’re:

  • Feeling stiff, tight, or weak in your joints or muscles

  • Living with a chronic condition like arthritis or sciatica
  • Getting back into sport or physical activity after time off

At Peak Motion, we work with people of all ages and activity levels. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t wait; we’ll assess what’s going on, talk you through it, and get started on a treatment plan that’s tailored to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?

No, you don’t need a referral to see a physio in Australia. However, your GP may refer you if you’re eligible for a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, which can provide Medicare rebates.

Is physiotherapy covered by Medicare or private health insurance?

Yes, physiotherapy may be covered. Medicare rebates are available under a GP CDM plan. Most private health insurance extras also provide rebates for physiotherapy sessions. Give us a call and we’ll be happy to check what you can claim.

How many physiotherapy sessions will I need?

This depends on your condition, goals, and progress. Some patients improve in just a few sessions, while others benefit from an ongoing program for injury prevention, performance, and lifestyle support.

What conditions do physiotherapists treat?

Physiotherapists treat a wide range of issues including back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, arthritis, post-surgery rehab, and mobility concerns. At Peak Motion, we also run lifestyle and performance programs to keep you moving well long-term.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Bring comfortable clothing that allows easy movement, any relevant scans or referral letters, and your private health insurance card (if applicable).
